To offer a wide variety of social, recreational, educational, and civic minded programs in a place that feels welcoming, friendly, and safe to all citizens of Sebasticook Valley

The SVCC serves residents of all ages as well as those from the surrounding towns.
A wide variety of activities and special events take place here at SVCC.

How We Are Supported

The SVCC is supported by the generosity of many community members. Our property is thanks to the generosity of Goody Gilman and Bull Dog Entp.  It is true the SVCC receives a yearly stipend from the Town of Newport. We are very thankful for the contribution and support we receive from the Town of Newport. (prior to 2010)

Over 70% of the total budget for the SVCC is raised through donations, fundraisers, HUGS, and our Banner Sponsor Program.
